Obituary

Adam D. Anderson, Jr. was born to Adam D. Anderson, Sr. and Ruby Alford Anderson on July 14, 1950 at Hasting Indian Hospital in Tahlequah, OK. He was the fourth of Ruby Alford Anderson's six children.

Spikey's education started in Oklahoma City and was completed in Oakland, CA where he lived most of his life. He possessed many talents and went on to pursue careers as a United Stated Postal Service employee, factory worker and appliance delivery driver.

Adam moved back to Oklahoma to care for his ailing dad and did so with such loving care that it extended his dad's life a great degree. Not long after his dad's death, he began caring for another loved one, Ms. Brenda Borrilez. Anyone who saw Spikey pushing them around in their wheelchair could plainly see that he was a loving, caring, and good-hearted person.

Spikey was well known for his humor and comedic wit. Everyone who held a conversation with him would walk away in laughter. He also had a deep passion for music and enjoyed live musical performances. He will be missed at family gatherings and a special vegetarian plate will continue to be on the menu in his honor.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Anderson; father, Adam Daniel "Pen" Anderson, Sr.; sisters, Ruby Octavia and Lethan Anderson-Butler; brother, Scoby A "KoKo" Anderson and partner Brenda Borrilez.

Cherishing his memory are his son, Immoni Anderson; daughter, Vivian Anderson; sisters, Zenobia Staggers (Johnnie), and Barbara Reynolds; brothers, Howard "Speedy" Anderson, Leon Anderson (Sharon), Truman Anderson, and Terry Howard (LeLoa); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
