Albert G. Gresham, age 84, a long time resident in Hoffman, OK, community, transitioned, Friday, January 14, 2022 in the Stroud Medical Center, Stroud, OK.

Albert Garner Gresham's life began on September 26, 1937, in Dighton, Oklahoma to Alonzo Gresham and Stellar Grader. Albert's early childhood was spent in Hoffman, Oklahoma.

He attended elementary and middle school in Hoffman, Oklahoma. Albert attended high school in Grayson, Oklahoma, where he graduated.

He spent 21 years in the United States Military and retired with an honorable discharge.

Albert enjoyed sports, especially football, basketball, and spiritual activities.

Albert moved to Buena Vista, Georgia, where he lived and worked until his second retirement. In his later years, he returned to Hoffman, Oklahoma.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, nine brothers, and seven sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Diana Hahn of Germany, Lynn Gresham of Tulsa, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Home Going Celebration will be conducted on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., Union Baptist Church, Grayson, OK. Interment will be Monday, Jan. 31st at 2:30 P.M. in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, OK.  Public visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2022 in the Precious Memories Chapel, House of Winn Funeral Home-Okmulgee during the hours of 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Masks are required at all services.
