Alma Jean Evans was born May 23, 1956 in Okmulgee, OK; to the proud parents Arlantus Evans and Queen Ester (Manuel) Evans.
Alma Jean attended Okmulgee Public Schools. She worked for the Okmulgee Public School system. Later in life she worked as a housewife.
On March 22, 2017, Alma Jean was called home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Ronnie, Terry, and Lewis Evans and sister, Linda Evans.
She leaves to witness her home going, her mate, Ronald Calvin, of the home, one son, Willie (LaTonya) Shells, Jr., Okmulgee, OK; one daughter, LaShika Evans, Okmulgee, OK; her granddaughter, Natorie Graham, six brothers, Sammy Evans, Tulsa, OK; Charles and Mark Jordan, Oklahoma City, OK; Dwight Evans, Steven Jordan and Garland Jordan and Derrick Jordan, all of Okmulgee, OK; four sisters, Joyce Drew, Yolanda Evans, both of Okmulgee, OK; Quanton Moody and Angela Perry, Oklahoma City, OK; her dearest friend, Brenda Fisher, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Home Going Service is scheduled Saturday, April 1, 2017, 11:00 a.m., Macedonia Baptist Church, 1029 N. Sioux Street, Okmulgee, OK; with Rev. Gregory Richardson, eulogizing. Interment will follow in Sharps Memorial Garden Cemetery, Okmulgee, OK.
Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
