Andrew Lee Alexander Jr., was born on February 19, 1942 to Andrew Lee and Ollie Mae Alexander, in Beggs, OK.
"Stick" as he was affectionately called by family and friends, graduated from Nuyaka High School where he excelled in basketball. After graduating, he was drafted in the United States Army. He served during the Vietnam War from 1963 until 1966 and was honorably discharged. After serving his country, Stick came home and worked for Ball Brothers Glass Plant in Okmulgee, OK; he later worked for Patent Construction Systems in Tulsa, OK; as a foreman for several years before retiring at the age of 60.
Andrew enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing dominoes, but most of all he enjoyed watching basketball in his free time.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Annie Mae Alexander, sister, Frankie Mae (Jerry) Butler, children, Michael Alexander, Andrea Alexander, Shon Alexander, Angie Edmerson, Martha Edmerson, Andrew Edmerson, Stephanie Edmerson, Tyrone Brown, Demotte Boyd, Keith Rivers, Wendell Rivers and Greg Rivers, niece, Shana Butler, nephew, Dee-Arman Butler, along with a host grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews other family and friends.
A Home Going Service is scheduled Saturday, November 25, 2017, 1:00 p.m., House of Winn Funeral Home, 607 E. Fifth Street, Okmulgee, OK.
Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be Friday, 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home.
