Angela "NeNe Boo" Roberts

May 18, 1966 - January 5, 2022

Angela Roberts was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Clarence Roberts and Sylvia Lee Ruff.

Angela known to all as "Nene Boo" was a long-time resident of Okmulgee and took pride in her hometown would often say "Mugtown or No Town."  Angela accepted Christ at an early age attending Macedonia Baptist Church of Okmulgee.

Angela attended Okmulgee Public Schools, played basketball for the Okmulgee Bulldogs.  Where she graduated with the class of 1984.  Angela furthered her education attending Connors State College, Warner, Oklahoma. Angela worked at Kwikset, Bristow, Oklahoma employed as a line assembly worker until the company closed.

Angela enjoyed playing softball, cookouts with family and friends listening to blues with Johnny Taylor being one of her favorite blues' singers. Angela was a huge fan of the NFL Team the Pittsburg Steelers and was "Ready for Some Football"!! Defending her team and other Steeler fans was so much fun to be a part of. It cannot go without saying that all who knew Nene Boo grew to love her and always knew that laughter would be part of her company, sharing fond memories of years past.

Angela is preceded in her death by her father Clarence Roberts, her one and only child who she loved so much, her son, Anthony "Pee Wee" Roberts, her beloved sister Regina Johnson.

Angela leaves to cherish her precious memories, her mother Sylvia Lee Ruff of the home in Okmulgee, OK, Her brother Darrell Ruff (Sheri) of Okemah, OK. Her nephews: Jaquan Buyckes, Okmulgee, OK, Brayon Jones, Tulsa, OK. nieces: Micayla Ruff, Tulsa, OK. Aubrey Ruff, Okemah, OK, Special Aunt: Gloria Overstreet, Okmulgee, OK, uncle Jasper Brown (Donna), Tulsa, OK, close friend LaDana Huffman and a host of family and friends.

Graveside rites, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in Okmulgee cemetery.  Public visitation, Friday, January 14, 2022 in Precious Memories Chapel of House of Winn Funeral Home-Okmulgee during the hours of 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.   The casket will remain closed at the service.

Mask wearing is encouraged at all services.
