Ann Louise Drew was born on September 5, 1932, to Elmer and Elnora Hawkins in Okmulgee County. She was the first of five children, she worked as an executive secretary for many years. Ann worked faithfully in the church, as the church secretary. Her favorite hobbies were fishing, sewing, crocheting and anything to make the home pleasant.
She is preceded in death by her mother Elnora Hawkins and husband Sherman Drew.
She leaves to mourn, seven children, Eleanor Bradford, Darlene McKnight, Elmer Whittaker all of Tulsa, OK, Johnnie B. Whittaker Jr. and Robert Lee Whitaker of Texas, Hazel Miller of Grove, OK and Stephanie Pingleton of Catoosa, OK, stepdaughter, Pamela Drew of Houston, TX, stepson, Jory Drew of Houston, TX; two brothers, Jackie and George Hawkins; two sisters, Erma Taylor, Tulsa, OK and Alma Morgan, Haskell, OK. A host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of relative and friends.
A Home Going celebration will be conducted, Saturday, June 15,2019 at 11 a.m. in the Cane Creek Baptist Church, Boynton, OK with the pastor Rev. Martin Lang, officiating. Interment will follow in Cane Creek Cemetery.
Visitation, Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Precious Memories Chapel-Okmulgee.
The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Homes.
