Anthony "Pee
Wee" Roberts
September 13, 1987 – May 5, 2021
In the early fall of 1987 the 13th day of September, a sweet baby boy was born in Okmulgee to the parents of Angela Roberts and Dwight Evans. They named him Anthony Eugene Roberts; known to all as "Pee Wee".
Anthony matriculated throughout the Okmulgee Public Schools, where he graduated with the Okmulgee High School class of 2007. He furthered his education attending the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) in Edmond as well as Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology (OSUIT) in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Anthony also participated in the Upper Bound Program where he was able to travel all over the states and meet all walks of life.
Anthony accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Judson Fields, where he loved to play the tambourine.
Anthony was a very hard worker, sometimes working two jobs, but his heart and passion was being a color guard instructor for his students and being their mentor. He taught color guard for Okmulgee Public School, Morris Public School, and Hilldale Public School just to name a few.
Anthony was full of life from the time he could walk and talk, and that great personality blossomed into a man who was the epitome of one love and one human race. Because he loved everyone, and everyone loved him. He always gave hugs and compliments and was sure to make you laugh, also giving encouraging words and reminding you to be your authentic self.
