Benedict (Ben) Hosea Howell was born on August 5, 1986 to the late Melvin Howell Sr.  and Eveline Gay (Lang) Howell at Muskogee Regional Hospital in Muskogee, OK.

Ben was raised in Boynton, OK, where he attended Boynton Public Schools. After graduating from High School and went on to attend College at Langston University. Ben was a truck driver for several different companies until he decided to work for himself. He own and operated his own company Howellboi LLC. He loved going up & down the Highway to different states.

At just 38 years old, Ben gained his wings and joined his father, Melvin Howell Sr, Grandmother, Lorene Howell, and Grandfather Archie Lang Sr. who preceded him in Death.

He leaves to mourn, his Mother Eveline Gay (Lang) Howell, Siblings, Melvin Howell Sr., Curtis Howell, Brian Howell, & Chris Howell all of Dallas Texas, Grandmother, Naomi Lucile Lang, along with a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins , other relatives & Friends.

A Home Going Service is scheduled Sunday, May 18, 2025, 2:00 p.m., Boynton Community Center, 200 W. Kenefick Ave., Boynton, OK; with  Pastor CE Spaulding, eulogist and Pastor Will Lang Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Lang Family Cemetery, Boynton, OK.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
