Bob Maurice Barnett was the 2 ^nd of 9 children born March 14 ^th 1967 to his proud parents Charles and Mary Barnett in the little town of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Charles and Mary moved their then small family to Okmulgee, Oklahoma where they would reside for many years to come. Bob was baptized at an early age at Greater Jones Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. Bob was educated in the Okmulgee Independent School District where he graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1985. After graduation he moved to Springfield, MO with his Aunt Lynn and Uncle Marcellus.

While living in Springfield Bob met his beloved Judy aka "Julie" who he would spend the next 24 years with and become the proud Dad of four beautiful children: Candace Michelle, Jerry Robert (Jarue), Tatianna Rosie and Victoria Josephine. Bob worked at Hudson Foods for 15 years. Upon leaving Hudsons Bob worked at Trinity Rail Company.

Bob loved his family dearly, he was an awesome spouse, father, grandfather, son, brother, nephew, and cousin, but his love extended beyond blood, he was an awesome friend as well. He truly lived the command to love thy neighbor, because if you had a need, and he could help, he did and it didn't matter who you were. Bob didn't mind feeding or housing anyone. Bob lived this life well, being exactly who God purposed him to be, and to know him was to love him.

Bob received his wings on Sept. 23 ^rd 2021 joining his father Charles E. Barnett Sr, his brother James E. Barnett, maternal grandparents Melvin and Josephine Carrethers and his paternal grandparents Daily and Minnie Barnett.

Bob leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved, Judy (Julie); his four children: Candace Lininger, Jerry (Jarue) Lininger, Tatianna Barnett and Victoria Barnett; one grandson: Wade Rawson; his mother: Mary Barnett; one sister: Minnie Gallizia; six brothers: Charles Barnett Jr. (Tammy), Curtis Barnett Sr. (Tammy), Vernon Barnett Sr, Daren Barnett, David Barnett, Andre Barnett Sr.; four aunts, one uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Service of Memory will be conducted, Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Mt Zion Baptist Church, 1500 N. Miami St.  Okmulgee, OK with Rev. Carl Morgan, eulogizing.  Interment will follow in Nuyaka Cemetery, Nuyaka, OK.  Visitation, Friday, Oct. 1st in the Precious Memories Chapel/House of Winn Funeral Home-Okmulgee, during the hours of 2:30 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
