Bobbie Jean Mitchell was born February 22, 1935 in Dustin, OK; to Henry and Frankie (Flenoy) Mitchell.

Bobbie attended school in Okmulgee, OK; and graduated from the historic Dunbar High School with class of 1954.

She professed a love for Christ at an early age. Bobbie was a member of the Church of the Living God temple #53, Tulsa, OK; under the direction of Bishop CL Lewis.

Bobbie met and married, Wilbert Mitchell. This marriage was later dissolved. Bobbie cherished her daughters, Linda, Anita and LaDonna.

She was very domestic. Bobbie was a home health care provider.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Ruby Mae Mitchell, Lertie V. James, and Velvet M. Williams, three brothers, CL Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell and Otis Mitchell.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Linda Mitchell, Oklahoma City, OK; Anita and LaDonna Mitchell, both of Tulsa, OK; one sister, Vera Fultz, Okmulgee, OK; two brothers, Earl Mitchell and JW Mitchell, both of Oklahoma City, OK; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Home Going service is scheduled, Monday, August 8, 2016, 11:00 a.m., Precious Memories Chapel, 607 E. Fifth Street, Okmulgee, OK; with interment to follow in Vernon Cemetery, Vernon, OK.

THERE WILL BE NO VIEWING AT THE SERVICE.
