Dr. Bobbye Anne Davis, age 66 of Muskogee, OK, passed away August 27, 2016.

She was born August 17, 1950 in Muskogee, OK to Rev. Robert L. Hudson and Lola D. Tucker Hudson.

In 1965 Bobbye, traveled extensively in Europe with her mother. She graduated from Manual Training High School with the class of 1967.

She earned a doctorate in Psychology at the University of Oklahoma 1986. She was a member of Phi Delta Kappa Sorority. She was a professor for many years at Northeastern State University until she retired for health reasons. But still loved to tutor her students many years after. To know her was to love her. Her laugh and smile will be sorely missed.

Bobbye was preceded in death by her beloved parents.

Left to mourn her passing are her son, Johnathan L. Davis (Jennifer) of Muskogee, OK; 2 grandsons, Mason Tyler and Max Johnathan Davis; cousin, Patricia Walker and family of Lake Oswego, OR.

For those that knew and loved her, the grief will be enduring. We will find strength only in our faith, for we know in our hearts the Lord has helped her pass from this life into heaven.


A Home Going service is scheduled Tuesday, September 6, 2016, 2:00 p.m., Precious Memories Chapel, 2200 Military Blvd., Muskogee, OK; Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery, Muskogee, OK.

Visitation will be Monday, September 5, 2016, 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
