Brandon Jordan, age 37, formerly of Okmulgee, OK, transitioned on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Mr. Brandon Jordan McGriff was born to Quanton (Jordan) Moody and Benson McGriff on September 7, 1984 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Brandon attended grade school in Okmulgee, OK and graduated for John Marshall High School in (OKC) in 2003. He later moved out of state where he worked in Public Health for ten years.

Brandon enjoyed life to the fullest. He lived with no regrets. Although his life seemed short to many, those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His big smile and warm hugs always made you feel like everything was going to be ok. He was a jokester with a heart of gold. Because he was a big kid at heart, his niece and nephew adored him along with children of his close family and friends. Brandon never met a stranger. He loved music and movies and spending time with family and friends. There was always something to celebrate if Brandon was around. He always made anyone feel welcomed and loved. He loved deeply and we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace surrounded by light.

Brandon leaves to cherish his memory, Mom, Quanton Moody; Dad, Benson McGriff; sisters, Brittney, Aniyah, and Ayana; brothers, Quintell, Jonathan (Regine), and Clayton and a host of beloved family and friends.

A Service of Memory will be conducted on Saturday, May 28th at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, 311 W. 5th St., Okmulgee, OK.

Mask wearing is encouraged at all services.
