In Loving Memory of Broyce Lewis Foreman Jr.
Broyce was born on June 24, 1954 to Hazel Foreman and Broyce Lewis Walker Sr. Broyce was the oldest child of Hazel Foreman and the only child of Broyce Lewis Walker Sr.
Broyce received his elementary education in Kansas City, KS at Douglas Elementary School and received his High School education in Taft, OK at Moten High School where he graduated in 1973.
He joined the Navy in July 1973 and served for 5 years. He then relocated to Los Angeles, CA. He joined the Merchant Marines working on oil ships for a short period of time. Then he became employed at the official police garage of Los Angeles, CA, towing cars for the police department for more than 15 years. He relocated to Taft, OK in 2010 where he worked for the Proform Group as a welder until his untimely death.
Broyce was skilled in many occupations including being a mechanic, a remodeler and plumber. He enjoyed helping others.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Foreman and his father Broyce Lewis Walker Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memory a special friend of 40 years, Patricia Bruce; one daughter, Juanita Parker, Muskogee, OK; two sons, Tarius Foreman, Kansas, City KS, and Brian Foreman; 1 brother, Carl (Leontra) Foreman; two sisters, Gwendolyn Burks, Renee Slaughter; 3 grandsons, Kermit Thomas, Kenneth Thomas, Miguel Parker; 3 granddaughters, Kenisha Thomas, Keondra Thomas, Tamara Thomas; 3 aunts, Lavetta Williams, Esther Belcher/Jones, Jamesetta Fairchild, Mae Lois; 6 uncles, Thurlman Roberts, Searcy Simmons, John Walker, Jimmie Walker, Lonnie Walker, and Louie Walker; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Home Going service is scheduled, Saturday, February 1, 2020, 11:00 a.m., Taft Community Resource Center, 208 W Seminole, Taft, OK. Interment will be Monday, February 3, 2020, 1:00 p.m., Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, OK.
Visitation, Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home, Muskogee.
