Calvin Fletcher, 67, sanitation department for the city, a resident of Okmulgee, OK; passed away, Sunday, October 26, 2014 in Muscogee Creek Nation Medical Center.

Calvin Fletcher was born to Preston and Ionia-Senter Fletcher, July 18, 1947 in Nuyaka, Oklahoma.

Calvin attended Okmulgee Public Schools.

Later, Calvin moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he worked for Phillips Lawn Service and Johnson Sanitation.

Calvin met and married Regina Ferguson, and to this union three children were born. This marriage was later dissolved.

Calvin's journey brought him back to Okmulgee, Oklahoma where he met and married Gladys Overstreet.

This father, husband and brother was called home, October 26, 2014, by our Lord and saviour.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Ionia Fletcher, grandfather, Albert Fletcher, aunts, Lila M. Oliver and Precious Pearl Chandler.

Those left behind to cherish his wonderful memories, his wife, Gladys, children, Tia, Calvin Jr., Darshell Fletcher, stepsons, Cardell, Patrick and Kerri Overstreet, his twin brother, Ealvin Fletcher, Okmulgee, OK; sisters, Marcia Phillips, Okmulgee, OK; Pearl (Lee) Johnson, Oklahoma City, OK; Lila (Murphy) Edwards, Yvonne (Sylvester) Hunter, Lynda Chaplin, Zenobia Elliott, Deborah (Jerry) LeBlanc, all of Tulsa, OK; along with grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Calvin will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all others who knew and loved him.

A service of Memory will be conducted, Saturday, November 1, 2014, 11:00 a.m., First Baptist Church Central, 521 N. Central Street, Okmulgee, OK. Interment will follow in Nuyaka Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
