Obituary

Charity R. Allen was born August 30, 1947, in Sapulpa OK to Marshall and Ollie Allen.

She attended Granite Public School in Granite, OK. She later moved to Sapulpa at an early age and became a nursing home laundry aide and homemaker. During this time, she became a member of the Church of God in Christ in Beggs, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents Marshall and Ollie Allen, five sisters Maybell Pruitt, Alamae Brown, Mabel Titsworth, Florence Roberson and DeEtta Roberson, three brothers Leonard Brown, Pie D. Allen and Floyd Allen.

She leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her homegoing, two sons Robert Tate, Dennis (Debbie) Tate both of Tulsa, OK, three daughter's Betty (Byron) Williams of Sapulpa, OK, Shaka Reynolds and DeeDee Allen of Tulsa, OK, three sisters Lou Burst of Tulsa, OK, Roberta (James) Brown of Depew, OK and Hattie Knox of Sapulpa, OK, one brother Roy Allen of Mounds, OK, 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Home Going Service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 412 N. 7th St., Sapulpa, OK. Interment will follow in New Bethel Cemetery, Beggs, OK. Public visitation will be Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in the Precious Memories Chapel, House of Winn Funeral Home-Okmulgee, 607 E. Fifth St., Okmulgee, OK during the hours of 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Mask wearing is encouraged at all services.
