After 53 years, Charles was called to his heavenly home on April 9, 2018.

On January 24, 1965 Charles was the second child born to Charles Franklin Clemmons Sr. and Lois Jean (Lewis) Clemmons. Charles accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age at Central Missionary Baptist Church.

Charles was a graduate of Muskogee High School, he worked at Arkhola Sand & Gravel. He went on to work at Golden Rule before his health failed him. Charles' hobbies included hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed grilling.

Charles enjoyed being around family and friends. If he had good food and family around, he was happy. He was the "grill master" at all of the family gatherings. Charles believed in family being there for each other.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Clemmons Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Lois Clemmons; two sisters, DeVenus (Henry) Taylor, MarJorie Bruce. One brother, Keith (Beverly) Clemmons. Daughter, Colby Lewis. Step-daughters, Carolyn Maxwell and Markesa Maxwell. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A host of aunts, uncles, and friends.

A Home Going Service is scheduled, Saturday, April 14, 2018, 10:00 a.m., Antioch Church of Muskogee, 500 W. Broadway Street, Muskogee, OK; with Rev. Marlon Coleman, eulogizing.  Interment will follow in Booker T. Washington Cemetery, Muskogee, OK.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
