Clara Gee, known to most of her family as " Aunt Pigeon" was born, June 1, 1913 in Conway, Arkansas to the proud parents, Marcellus and Katie Morris.
Marcellus and Katie moved their family to Oklahoma where Aunt Pigeon was raised and attended school. Aunt Pigeon left Oklahoma and moved to Missouri at an early age.
She worked as a Housekeeper at Baptist Memorial Hospital where she would retire some years later. After retirement she reunited with her husband Curly Gee. Soon after he passed away in 1980, she moved back to Okmulgee, OK; to take care of her sister.
She remained in Okmulgee until God called her home, November 25, 2016.
Aunt Pigeon was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Curly Gee, four brothers, Marcellus Jr., Sirdaris (SD), Emanuel and Johnnie Morris, four sisters, Ophelia Slaughter, Ora Harper, Elizabeth Morris, and Katie Hall.
She leaves to cherish her memory, 5 generations of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A Home Going Celebration will be conducted Saturday, December 3, 2016, 1:00 p.m., Precious Memories Chapel, 607 E. Fifth Street, Okmulgee, OK; with Rev. Greg Richardson, eulogizing. Interment will follow in Okmulgee Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home.
