Obituary

The Sun Rose on May 12, 1950 for Curtis W. "Smackey" Lee to Parents Ester L. Clayton and Floyd F Lee in Ft. Coffee, OK.

He accepted Christ into His Life at an early age at Mt. Triumph Baptist while attending Sunday School and Church.

His education began at Douglas School, and he went on to receive his high school diploma from Spiro High School. He continued his studies at Okmulgee Tech where He met and later united in marriage to Helen Fisher.

The sun set on Curtis Wayne Lee's life Monday September 25, 2017 at Mercy Hospital Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Lee, twin sons Wayne & Dewayne Lee, father Floyd F Lee, brother Reggie Lee.

He leaves to cherish his memory a son Gary DeWayne Lee of Ft. Smith, AR , His mother Ester Lee Clayton of Ft. Coffee, OK; two grandchildren Jordon Lee and Jaylen Lee; four brothers, Ocie Clayton, Freddie Cuble, & Rochelle Blocker of Ft. Coffee, OK, Stewart Blocker of Wichita, KS; six sisters, Shirley Cummings, Brenda Rowe of Wichita, KS, Katherine Clayton of Ft. Coffee, OK, & Michele Martin of Atlanta, GA, two sisters of Kansas City, MO, A host of nieces, nephews relatives & Friends both near and far.


A Home Going Service is scheduled Saturday, October 7, 2017, 11:00 a.m., Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, 15802 Fort Coffee Rd, Spiro, OK. Interment will follow in Ft. Coffee Cemetery, Ft. Coffee, OK

Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2017, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Ft. Smith, AR

The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Homes.
