Cynthia Rugenia Dunn, aged 49, walked the stairway to heaven on the early morning of January 5 ^th , 2023, In the hometown of Muskogee, Oklahoma, due to her courageous battle against breast cancer.

On May 2 ^nd , 1973, a beautiful baby girl was born to Essie Mae Brown and Robert Lee Leonard Dunn, who they've decided to name Cynthia Rugenia Dunn. Cynthia graduated from Muskogee High School in 1991 and proceeded to further her education by going to a community college. Cynthia was a devoted and caring mother; she embraced her children with an outstanding amount of love and support. Cynthia recently decided to retire from O'Reilly's Auto Parts after working there for 25 long years.

Cynthia is survived by her sister and brother, LaRita Dunn, and Dempsey Dunn, her three children Romel Lev'onne Mayes, Ceaundrae Jackson Jones, and Jakaylah Renae Jones, her five grandchildren Erin Mayes, Kahmel Mayes, Norielle Mayes, Kardiell Mayes, and Ka'Cya Jones, her niece and nephew, Jameia Corell, and Jacquez Corell, and her daughter in law/granddaughter in law Jasmon Mayes, and Niyajae, along with a numerous amount of others who celebrate with her on the other side.

Rather than spending time with her loved ones, Cynthia enjoyed anything that included fashion, she wanted to create her own fashion line, travel the world, and enjoyed anything that had to do with God, Jesus, our savior. Cynthia had a warm, loving, caring spirit and personality, she'd give you the shirt off her back, the last drop of money out of her wallet, the last bit of knowledge that she had, if it meant that you were going to be satisfied. Cynthia was known for her warm, caring embrace, and the ability to help you in any way possible. She was the earth angel that anyone could run to for guidance, she touched many souls, and that shall never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 in the Precious Memories Chapel of House of Winn Funeral Home - Muskogee, located at 2200 Military Blvd, Muskogee, OK, during the hours of 11:00am - 6:00pm.

Services are scheduled for Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Divine Love Christian Fellowship, 500 N. F Street,  Muskogee, OK
