Daisy Keel Gresham was born September 4, 1918 to Ben and Maud Keel. Daisy was married to Alonzo(Sweet) Gresham, Oct.12,1940. Daisy was a homemaker loved to cook and her passion was caring for her grandchildren. To know her was to love her.
Daisy was a faithful servant to Christ until her death at Union Baptist Church. She was a honorary lady auxilliary of the VFW Post #539 and a member of Gold Star Mothers for 31 years.
God dispatched a special angel to bring Daisy to her heavenly home, Nov. 27, 2010.
Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, and two sisters, seven sons and two daughters.Daisy leaves to cherish her memory and legacy four daughters, Elnora Nash(Edward) Hoffman,OK,Bertha Tarrer(John)Wichita,KS Maerean McGlory , Tucson,AZ, Betty Childress(George)Wichita,KS;her granddaughter that she reared, Sheila Brooks, Kansas City,MO; three sons, Joe Ellis Gresham(Maxine)Hoffman,OK Sam Gresham(Claudine)Wichita,KS; Albert Gresham(Helen)Vuenta Vista,GA; 48 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren 17 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
