D'Angelo Grayson, 18, a resident of Muskogee,Ok
transitioned, Thursday, July 24, 2014.
On August 1, 1995, God blessed Tasha Grayson for the 4th time with the birth of a son, D'Angelo "Angel" Cortez Grayson.
Angel was born and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma with his siblings, Dante', Tequila, Corvelle and Genesis. Tasha along with Chris Campbell and her two brothers, Darion and Corey, raised a loving, respectful, intelligent young man. Angel attended Cherokee Elementary, 7th and 8th Grade Center, and Muskogee High School.
Angel was known and loved by many. He brought joy and laughter to those who knew him. Handsome face, piercing eyes and a devilish grin, he was definitely a heartbreaker. He was someone many looked up to and truly admired. He was a great brother, uncle and son. He enjoyed playing basketball, making music, and caring for his niece, Kayd and nephews, Kel and Kam. Angel was anxiously anticipating the birth of his first child, his son, D'Angelo Jr. Even though father and son had not met yet, he was the holder of Angel's heart.
Like I said before, they say people who leave impressions on others hearts are never here long, Angel was taken from us Thursday, July 24, 2014, one week shy of his 19th birthday. I will miss him and the boys hanging out on the porch, rapping and laughing about nothing.
Angel leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, step-father, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, wonderful friends who were like family, and a special young lady. Angel is being sent to reunite with his brother Corvelle on his 19th birthday. God sent him to us on this day and its only fitting that he returns to Him today.
A Service of Memory will be conducted Friday, August 1, 2014, 18th & Denison Church of Christ with Bro. Eric Rodgers eulogizing. Interment will follow in Booker T. Washington Cemetery.
Public Visitation will be Thursday ONLY 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
NO VIEWING AT THE SERVICE.
The family has been cared for by Granger-House of Winn Funeral Home.
