Daniel L. Johnson was born October 19, 1921 in Nuyaka, OK. He was the tenth child of thirteen children born to Charlie and Mary Emma Johnson. He received Christ at an early age.

Dan, as he was known by many of his friends and family, met and married Charlene Mayes on November 7, 1940. To this union 8 children were born. He was a construction laborer by trade, an avid farmer who also loved to hunt. He enjoyed harvesting and peddling his crops. He continued farming well after retiring from construction work.

He was preceded in death by his wife , Charlene of 78 years, his parents Charlie and Emma Johnson, seven brothers and five sisters.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory eight children: Dannie Mae Carlis, Doris Adams (John), Charlie Johnson, Daniel Lee Johnson (Burma), Ron Johnson (Linda), Glenda Golden (Rodney Chaney), Gale Clark (Larry Morris), Jackie Tate (Roy) and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A Home Going Celebration will be conducted, Saturday, July 25, 2020  at 11:00 a.m. in the Precious Memories Chapel of House of Winn Funeral Home-Okmulgee.  Visitation will be, Friday, July 24, 2020 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

MASKS MANDATORY  with maximum occupancy of 50 mourners at all services.
