Danielle A.
Graves
February 4, 1975 – April 19, 2023
Our beloved mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and faithful friend arrived in Piqua, Ohio on February 4, 1975, the daughter of the proud parents, Otis and Eveleen Graves.
In 1993, she received her education in the public school system attending Piqua High School and Upper Valley JVS. She also played softball when growing up being coached by her father for many years. She also enjoyed doing cheer and going to the 36 Skate Club and also cruising on the weekend.
Danielle was a lovely kind spirit who was always smiling, praying for someone or giving to someone in need. Danielle never meant a stranger; she was a loving and caring person. Oh yeah and was always taking pictures.
On May 22, 2000, she was blessed with her daughter Kennedy Alexandria Graves.
Danielle dedicated her life to the Lord on September 17, 2022.
They later moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma in 2004, where she worked at a few places then became a care giver for her parents for many years until she became a care giver for her parents for many of years. She later became a beauty consultant for Bellame.
On April 19, 2023, the Lord saw that Danielle had fought a good fight and extended his hand to welcome her into Heaven's external home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Danielle leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter Kennedy A. Graves Rentiesville, OK, her dearest friend Castanlius "Cass" Huggins of Desoto, TX, one sister Yolanda Lynn Wright of Muskogee, OK and one brother Alfred Gilyard (Graves) of Checotah, OK; three nieces, Ashley Gilyard of Tulsa, OK, Monice Nelson of Kansas City, KS, Na'Shadame J. Wright of Muskogee, OK, and one nephew Cedric James Otis Wright; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
A Home Going Service will be conducted Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., at Faith Church, 389 Paul Carr Drive, Checotah, OK. Interment will follow in Oktaha Cemetery, Oktaha, OK.
