October 7th, 1939 a precious baby girl was born to Sam Peters and Ruth Ella Peters and they named her Donna Peters.

Donna grew up in Beggs, OK where she attended Wheatley School. Later in life she met and married Curtis L. Thompson aka Bishop. Three children were born of this union, Larry C Rhodes, Kent Rhodes and Shelly Rhodes.

Donna was employed as a Nanny for 15 years in Tulsa. She was also a homemaker and a devoted mother to her children. Her family was her main priority. She was a very loving person and was passionate about her crossword puzzles which you would catch her working at any given time.

On the morning of April 28th, 2025 Donna answered the Masters call to her new home in Glory at her home surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis L. Thompson, her son Larry Charles Rhodes, her parents Sam and Ruth Peters, her sisters Mary Moore, Lois Leathers and Dorothy Williams, her brother Marvin Peters.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son Kent Rhodes of Tulsa, OK, her daughter Shelly Rhodes of Texas. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews along with family and friends.

THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VIEWING

A Graveside Service is scheduled, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, 1:00 p.m., New Post Oak Cemetery, Beggs, OK.

Repast will be directly following the service at  Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ellemnopy Preschool and Playhouse, 8730 E Skelly Dr, Tulsa, OK 74129
