On February 4, 1941 a beautiful baby girl was born to Alfonso and Hattie Mae (Jones) Lovelace in Enterprise (Kinta) OK and they named her Dorothy Mae Lovelace.

At an early age she professed her love and belief in Jesus Christ and worked faithfully serving the lord until her illness.

Dorothy was the 3 ^rd child of nine Siblings: Beatrice Lovelace McKoy, Alfonso Jr., Booker A Lovelace, Gwen (Don) Jenkins of Warner OK , Milton Lovelace,  Laverne (Derek) Gordon of Krum TX, Maurice Lovelace of Wichita KS and Celia(James) Robinson of Krum TX.

Dorothy grew up in Pine Hollow (Warner) OK and attended and graduated high school in Rentisville, OK. After graduation she met and married David X Brewer and to this union 3 children were born Carolyn Brewer (Al) Holt, Danny D. Brewer and Felicia A. Brewer. This union was later dissolved and Dorothy was committed to providing and raising her children.

Dorothy worked for the Oklahoma State Children Center in Taft, OK for about 10 years until it closed and she transferred to the Parkview School (Oklahoma School for the Blind) Muskogee OK until her retirement. Dorothy devoted over 50 years working with children all while raising her own children and grandchildren.

In 1982 she married Hesley G. Beard Jr. and was a loving and devoted wife until his death in 2003.

Dorothy was a loving and kind woman who loved and cared for everyone she met. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading her bible and helping people, especially the elderly and children. She had a love for fashion and fragrances.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents: Alfonso and Hattie Lovelace, a sister Beatrice McKoy, brothers Alfonso Jar, Booker, and Milton Lovelace, a grandson Skyler L Brewer, and a great grandson Jarue Holt and brother-n-law James Robinson

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories: Her Children: Carolyn(Al) Holt, Danny and Felicia of OK, Sisters: LaVerne(Derek) Gordon, Gwen(Don) Jenkins, Celia Robinson, Brother: Maurice, Grandchildren: Tionna(Swolay) Usher of Atlanta GA, Cleo(Derry) Cobbins of Wichita KS, Tationna Holt of Muskogee OK, Dominique Holt of Guthrie OK, Christa and Darvain Brewer of Muskogee Ok.  Great- grandchildren: Jon, DJ, Demarcus and Jaylen all of Atlanta GA, LaTia and Nickolas of Wichita KS, Jiovante, Gabriella, Aiyana, Schuylah, Dewayne, Derrick and Aidric of Oklahoma and a Uncle William Jones of Wichita KS and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

A Service of Memory will be conducted, Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in United Pentacostal Church, 3702 W. Broadway St., Muskogee,OK with Brother Mike Hart, eulogizing.  Interment, Monday, Nov. 29th at 12:30 in Ft Gibson National cemetery.  Public visitation, Friday, Nov. 26th in the Precious Memories Chapel/House of Winn Funeral Home-Muskogee, during the hours of 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 p.m.
