Dustin
Byrd
July 22, 1988 – November 6, 2024
Dustin was born to Andrea Elaine Byrd and Mark Montgomery on July 22, 1988. Though born to Mark, he was lovingly raised by Ronald Ross, who played a significant role in shaping the man Dustin became. He attended Okmulgee High School, where his entrepreneurial spirit began to shine. To know Dustin was to know someone who embodied resilience and ambition, a true boss with an incredible talent for turning dreams into reality. His resourcefulness and determination were unmatched, always finding a way to turn nothing into something.
Beyond his business pursuits, Dustin was wholeheartedly devoted to his children and his role as a provider for his family. Known for his generous spirit, he constantly extended his heart to those in need, helping and uplifting many around him. His commitment to his family and friends was evident in every act of kindness, every encouraging word, and every moment he spent supporting others.
He leaves behind his loving fiancee', Kier, and his cherished children: Breonna Byrd, Brendynn Stallings, Brooklyn Byrd, Davion Byrd, Masen Hamilton, Jayceon Byrd, and Mikail Byrd. Dustin is also survived by his grandmother, Barbara Byrd; his siblings, Darrien and DeAndre "DaeDae" Byrd, Whitney, Kejuan, Jaiden, and Candace Montgomery; and a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who held him close to their hearts. Dustin was a family man through and through; his children were his pride and joy, and he was a rock of strength and love to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Dustin's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved. He taught us to embrace fully, stay on our "A" game, love openly, and give generously. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the countless joyful memories he shared with us and the enduring legacy of love he leaves behind.
