Obituary

Rev. Dwight Section, 63, minister, a resident of Okmulgee, OK; transitioned into his heavenly home, Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Alliance Health Center, Seminole, OK.

On August 21, 1952, Dwight Wendell Section was born to Robert Section and Roberta Massington Section in Marlin, Texas.

Dwight was known to his family and friends as, "Ike". He completed his education in Okmulgee, OK. Ike worked for Luby's Cafeteria for many years. He was a devoted member of Cleaves Memorial C.M.E. Church for many years. His last pastoral assignment was in Stringtown, OK. Even though he didn't drive, he was able to attend many of the C.M.E. conferences throughout the Tulsa District and the Oklahoma Region. Rev. Section had dedicated his life to the Lord and was very knowledgeable of the Holy Bible.

Rev. Section transitioned into his heavenly home, November 3, 2015.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Roberta Section, Step-mother, Eula Section, grand parent, Parlee Rich, sisters, Barbara Ann Reidand Norris Jean Young, aunts, Mollie Palmer, Mary White, Lucille Porter, Alberta Willis, Sylvester Dickerson and Iola Lang Cowans, uncles, B.T. Massington, cousins, Charles lang, Sunny Boy and Birdie Willis, James E. Harris, brother-in-law, Larry Clay and niece, Katrina Henderson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his baby sister, Vickie Section Clay, baby brother, Dunnie Section, nephews, L.D. Childers, Donte` Stevenson, DD Henderson, Kortez Henderson, Marshawn Blackmon, LeLand Johnson, Claudia Willis Fordham, Missy Martin, Angela Biggins, Livina Section, Thelma Johnson, Gloria Sexton, Niaja Reid, Keisha Section, Lakendra Section, Laricesa Henderson, Alfred White, Joel Willis, Donald lang, Darryl Willis, Jeremy Fordham, Debra Cornwell, Gloria Hargrove, Audrey Chirstian, Vera Faye Willis, J.C. Christian, Roderick Willis, Mary Joe Sullivan, Janice Nelson, Carolyn Adamson and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Home Going Service will be conducted Saturday, November 14, 2015, 11:00 a.m., Cleaves CME Church, 806 E. Smith Street, Okmulgee, OK; with interment to follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
