Edward Baker's Obituary
Edward Baker, 57, laborer, resident of Muskogee, OK; passed away, Friday, October 11, 2013, in St. John Medical Center.
Edward Charles Baker, born July 27, 1956 in Muskogee, OK; the son of Ed and Ruby Baker. He was one of the seven siblings blessed to this family.
Edward's education was acquired through the public school system, where he received his high school diploma.
At an early age he attended Little rose Baptist Church and later attended 18th & Denison Church of Christ.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ed and Ruby Baker, two brothers, James and Tommy Baker.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Opal (Charles) Clark Sr. and Ruby (Dewayne) Buchanan Sr., all of Muskogee, OK; two brothers, Alverenon (Leola) Collins and Earl Baker also of Muskogee, OK. In addition, he leaves behind a host of relatives and friends to cherish his life.
A Home Going service will be conducted Friday, October 17, 2013, 11:00 a.m.. 18th & Denison Church of Christ, with Bro. Eric Rodgers eulogizing. Interment will follow in Booker T. Washington Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, 1-6 p.m.
The family has been cared for by Granger-House of Winn Funeral Home.
