Clay was born in Brinkley, Arkansas to William and Ermalene Braden.  Clay was the baby of the family. He was preceded in death by his parents along with his brother, Eddie C. Braden, and his sister, Dorothy Lee Coleman.

Clay is survived by: his wife, Stephanie Braden; his children, Eugene Clay Braden, Jr. (Kristin), and Regina Braden; his grandchildren, Briana, Jordan, Josie, Houston, Roxy, Caylee, Cash, Hezekiah, and Kali; his siblings, Odis Braden of Gibson Station, Oklahoma, Aretha B. Hildreth of Vinita, Oklahoma, Ardell Braden (Audrey) of Taft, Oklahoma, Ethel Brooks of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Veodis Braden (Wanda) of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Nathaniel L. Braden of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one living aunt, Dorthene Smith, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Clay was employed by Aberdeen Dynamics for sixteen and a half years as a Repair Coordinator, where he gained a loving work family.

Clay was such an easy-going, loving person. He was always willing to lend a hand and there to put a smile on your face.  Clay loved to fish, camp and playing the guitar. He had all kinds of gadgets to make everything work out right.

Clay loved his family very much. If he knew you, he treated you like family, too.

A Service of Memory, for Eugene Clay Braden Sr., age 55, will be conducted, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Oasis Community Church,  800 W. Peak Blvd.  Muskogee,OK.  Interment will follow in Vernon cemetery, Coweta, OK.   Visitation, Friday, Sept. 17th in the Precious Memories Chapel/House of Winn Funeral Home-Muskogee, during the hours of 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home-Muskogee.
