Reflections, Eugene (Tonky) Parker

Eugene was born in Haskell, OK on November 7, 1942, to the union of Warren and Jewell Parker. He was known in Haskell as Tonky. Eugene later moved to Boynton, OK where he lived for 45 years until his passing. Eugene worked for Manhattan Construction Company and various other places from where he retired. He was known in the community of Boynton as Parker.

After 75 years with us Eugene Parker left this life for a life eternal on Monday, September 17, 2018 in Boynton, OK.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Warren and Jewell Parker, a sister, Bertha Lee Parker Campbell and three brothers, Terry Parker, Charles Parker, and Warren Parker, Jr.

Eugene leaves to mourn his passing, his life time companion, Viola Sanders of Boynton, OK, a brother, Walter Parker of Wichita, KS, a sister, Eleanor Parker of Coweta, OK, two children, Phyllis Parker of Edmond, OK, Antwone Parker of Muskogee, OK, one grandson, three granddaughters and two great granddaughters.

Eugene had 5 special great grandkids that loved him very much.

"Everything that has a beginning has an ending, make peace with that and all will be well."

A Home Going Service is scheduled Saturday, September 22, 2018, 1:00 p.m., Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 125 N. 1st Street, Boynton, OK.  Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home & Cremations.
