Fauntilla was born to Benjamin H. and Annie Mae McArthur Pearson July 1, 1933 in Theodore, AL ; the oldest daughter and 3rd child of 12 siblings.

There she enrolled in school.  After several relocations the family settled in the Cane Creek community near Boynton, OK where she graduated from Wheatley High School.   During her school years she met Alvin Lee Miller who later became her Husband. To this union 2 Sons were born, Vincent Barnard and Martin Otis.

To further her education she was employed at (OMH) Okmulgee Memorial Hospital and received a Ward Clerk certificate.    Attended OSU Tech. Computer (Data entry) Okmulgee, OK.   Received (CNA) and (HHA) License from Mission College, Santa Clara, CA.  Employed in Nursing  (Business Office), San Jose, CA.   She retired after 9 yrs. at Morton Health Center as Medical Records file clerk  in Tulsa, OK.

She loved gardening, sewing, piecing and quilting beautiful quilts; garments she displayed at County Fair won 1st place (cash prize).

Fauntilla accepted Christ at an early age. She was at her best when engaged in a deep bible discussion.

March 24, 2002 She united with the Rayfield Baptist Church, Muskogee, OK  and was a faithful member until her health failed.

On November  5, 2024 God called her home.

Preceding her in death:  her Husband, Alvin Lee Miller,  father; Benjamin H. Pearson (2 month shy of his 106 birthday). Mothers: Annie Mae Johnson, Lullia Pearson.   2 Brothers:  Lacerial (L.C.)  Buckeye, CA  and Frank Pearson, Compton, CA   3 Sisters: Daisy Presley, San Jose, CA Cloteal Glasgow, Tracy, CA  and  Corene Cato, Las Vegas, NV   Daughter: Karen Childers, Wichita, KS

Survivors: are 4 Brothers: James, Abraham (Mary) Dayton, TX  Alex (judy) Humble, TX and Andrew Johnson, Cantonment, FL  2 Sisters: Burnice  Spring, TX  and  Isabel Williams, Cantonment, FL.  2 Sons: Vincent (Denise) Tulsa, OK and Martin.  3 Grandsons: Vincent Jr. Evan Clayton Tulsa, OK  Antione  Wichita, KS.   2 Granddaughters; Marquisha and Lakara Childers, Wichita, KS.  2 Brothers-in-laws: Lawrence Cato.  Willard Young Tulsa, OK   1 Sister-in-law; Florene Hughes Tulsa, OK  Longtime Cousins:  Leo and Ernestine Coleman Redding, CA and many more cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Graveside Services are scheduled November 15, 2024, 11:00 a.m., Cane Creek Cemetery, Boynton, OK; with Pastor Leroy Walker Sr. offering words of comfort. Her casket will remain closed.
