Frankie
Williams
December 12, 1962 – August 19, 2024
On December 12, 1962, a precious baby girl was born to Lillie Jones and Luther James Williams in McKinney, Texas. She was the twelfth child in the family, with eight siblings preceding her in death, including nephew Jody Jones Jr. Raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She attended Cherokee Elementary, Alice Robertson Junior High, and Carter G. Woodson School in Tallahassee, Oklahoma.
From a young age, she was a devoted member of Faith Mission and the Church of God in Christ. Alongside her siblings, she sang in churches throughout the area, with their home often filled with the sounds of worship. Her mother played the guitar, her sister played the keyboard, bass, and piano, while her brother Clifford kept the rhythm on drums. She and her sister Johnnie were the lead singers, with Frankie providing background tenor vocals, and the other siblings harmonizing beautifully.
Frankie was a beacon of love and kindness to everyone who knew her. She had an extraordinary ability to make those around her feel valued and cherished. Her laughter was contagious, her smile warm and inviting, and her heart full of compassion. Frankie was not just a sister, partner, or friend; she was a confidante and a source of strength for all who needed it. Her selflessness and generosity knew no bounds, and she often went out of her way to help others, whether through a kind word, a listening ear, or an act of kindness. Her spirit was gentle and her love for her family and friends was unwavering, leaving behind a legacy of love that will endure in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
She leaves behind her beloved life partner, Shannon G. Uzzle, and a large and loving family, including her brother Clifford Jones and his wife Lara Bishop, and her sister Johnnie Bishop. She is also cherished by her nieces: Tomeka, Denise, Terry, Luvenia, Quisonya, Tenesha, and Karla; great-nieces: Alayah, Natalle, Cora, Elizabeth, Kyler, and Tyler; great-great-nieces and nephews: Harmony and Linsey; nephews: Henry, Karla, Ike, Charles Jr., Michael Coleman, Calvin, Elijah Jr., Rodney, Corey, Jeremy, and Willie Aaron (Dudey); Micah, Keaton, Colin, Joshua Aaron, Calvin Banks, Kanus, Jorrie, and Raylen.
