Celebrating the Life Of George "Lil Doc" Bills Jr.
On Saturday, February 26, 1966 a handsome bouncing baby boy was born to Jearldine Roberson (Washington) and George J. Bills in Muskogee, OK. She named him George Jr., he was an only child.
George was baptized at a very early age at the First Baptist Church of Taft, OK, we later joined Flipper Chapel AME Church, then returned to First Baptist Church.
He attended Moton School, Taft, OK, Whitter Elementary School, Alice Robertson Jr. High, graduated from Muskogee High School in 1984. Later he attended Muskogee Vocational School, Connors State College and Northeastern State University.
He was a commercial cooker, baker, meat cutter and maintenance worker. He exemplified character and integrity in his actions. In spite of life's trials and tribulations, he was consistent in how he lived his life. George had a very strong bond with his family and friends. George had a very happy and cheerful smile that made everyone he loved smile with him, he loved all kinds of sports, playing it and watching. He also loved dancing, cooking, grilling, and fishing. George enjoyed life to the fullest.
On September 4, 2016 the Lord took George Jr. by the hand and led him into heavens eternal peace and comfort.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his memories; his wife, Janet of Spring Valley, CA; 2 daughters, Tori and Alyssa Bills both of Muskogee, OK; 4 sons, Kevin and Anthony, of Spring Valley, CA, K. J. of Muskogee, OK, Jeremy of Ft. Worth, TX; 1 grandson, Kamdyn Jackson, Muskogee, OK; 10 grandchildren in San Diego, CA; his mother, Jearldine Washington (Pastor James C. Washington), Broken Bow, OK; special sisters, Paulette Braud, Woodbridge, VA, Kim Roberts (Cliff), Avondale, AZ; brothers, Kenny Washington, Texas, Elmer Jr. (Melissa) Lowe, Taft, OK; aunts, Esther Maxwell, Tulsa, OK, Dollie Melville, Mill Valley, CA; brother in laws and sister in laws all of California and a host of cousins and friends.
As a family we individually and collectively have stories about how George has impacted our lives. George certainly was our very special person in all our lives, now he has received his wings and has flown away to eternal heaven. He will be greatly missed by all.
A Home Going Service is scheduled for Saturday, September 17, 2016, 2:00 p.m., Harvest Ministries Church, 2200 E. Okmulgee St. Muskogee, OK. Interment will be in Taft Cemetery, Taft, OK.
Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
