Obituary

It was on April 13, 1930 that the joy of another baby girl blessed the union of Henry and Elizabeth Simpson, making her the fourth child born to this union. They named their bundle of joy, Georgia, but she soon became known as "Deary" to her family and friends.

Finding faith in God came to Deary as she was baptized at a young age. As a young adult she met and married her husband, Eugene Reynolds. Deary spent most of her working years at Western Hill Lodge until her blindness kept her from continuing.

It was on Monday, November 26, 2018 that her wings were given and God called his angel home. She'll be joined at the gates of Heaven, by her parents, husband, son, Larry Joe Reynolds, daughter, Edna Carter, granddaughter, Tammy Drew, great-grandson, Dominic Cotton, three brothers, and six sisters.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memories are her grandson, Kenneth Reynolds of Muskogee, OK; six great-grandchildren, Tasheba Drew of Tulsa, OK; Gary Drew Jr. of Sidney, OH, Donny Drew of Muskogee, OK; Janelle Lee of Arlington, TX; Myah Hardaway of Muskogee, OK; Ta Ta Reynolds of Kansas and a host of great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Ora Lee Mayfield of Fort Gibson, OK; and Lucille Stone of Muskogee, OK; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Memorial Service is scheduled, Saturday, December 8, 2018, 2:00 p.m., Four Mile Branch Baptist Church, Ft. Gibson, OK. Inurnment will follow in Four Mile Branch Cemetery.

Mrs. Reynolds was cremated.
