Geraldine Patsy Parker Craig was born on July 9, 1928 in Porter, Oklahoma. She was one of fourteen children born to Sherd and Ribbie Harrison Parker. She was known as "Pat" growing up.
She joined Mt Bethel Baptist Church at a young age. Growing up, she attended school in Tullahassee and graduated from Carter G. Woodson High School in 1946.
She married Chester D. Arterberry. To this union, two children, Dennis and Patricia, were born. They lived in Oklahoma City. She worked at J.C. Penny, John A. Brown, and downtown Oklahoma City as an elevator operator.
She finished her employment at O.G.E. Company. Later in life she married the late Milton Craig. After his passing, she moved back to Porter, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherd and Ribbie Harrison Parker; siblings; and daughter, Patricia; and husband, Milton Craig.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Dennis (Micky) Arterberry; four grandchildren, Nicole James (Keenan), Ronald Calvert (Julia), Alicia Williams (Keathen), and Lakitrice Calvert; ten great-grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Homegoing Service will be conducted on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, 9011 N 60th St W, Porter, OK, with Minister Blake Parker delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel Cemetery, Porter, OK.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 16th in the Precious Memories Chapel, House of Winn Funeral Home, 2200 Military Blvd, Muskogee, OK during the hours of 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
