Gery was born in Boynton, Oklahoma on December 26, 1956 to Harold and Annie Mae Triggs.

He attended and graduated from Boynton High School in 1975. Gery went on to attend Connors State College where he played Basketball with long time friends Lawrence Howell and Marcus Penney.

Gery Worked for Western Electric in Oklahoma City for a while. He later moved to Wichita, Kansas where he joined the Street Ministry. He was always very proud to share that experience with whomever would listen.

He joined Sanders Baptist Church with his devoted and big brother Harold Jr. Gery enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Gery's friends affectionately to him as "Juice". Gery will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace our Dear Brother.

Gery was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Annie Mae Triggs, brothers: Sanford, Eugene, and Leon.

Gery leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Harold Triggs Sr., brothers and sisters, Calvin Triggs, Harold Triggs Jr. (Annie Mae), Donald Earl Triggs (Samantha), Rita Williams (Lesley), Patricia Cook, Annaretta Triggs Hodge (Jimmy), Bridgette Randolph, Rhoda Grayson, Yvette Bell (Marcus); along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A Service of Memory will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Mt Zion Baptist Church, 125 N. 1 ^st St., Boynton, OK with his brother Rev. Harold Triggs, Jr. eulogizing.  Interment will follow in Cane Creek Cemetery, Boynton, OK.

Public Visitation will be Friday, July 9, 2021, 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Precious Memories Chapel of House of Winn Funeral Home-Muskogee, 2200 Military Blvd, Muskogee, OK.
