Gladys Montella was born October 3, 1960, in Henryetta, Oklahoma.  Gladys was the fourth child born to the union of Joe Ellis Gresham and Helen Marie (Zachary) Gresham.

She attended and graduated from Dewar High School in Dewar, Oklahoma.  She continued her education at Central State University, in Edmond, Oklahoma.  Her passion was to be a beautician; she attended the Okmulgee School of Cosmetology, where she received her license in cosmetology.  Gladys worked as a beautician and nail technician for many years.  In 2007 she closed her nail shop to become the provider for her nephew (Tony). She found her true calling in the home health field. She loved working with the elderly and handicapped.

Gladys was a talented artist; she enjoyed all forms of art and music. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was a very loving a faithful friend.

She leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Latamara Gresham (Tulsa, OK), Charmaine Bolden (Okmulgee, OK); four grandchildren, Destiny, Montell, Kevonte, and Camden; six brothers, Calvin, Joe Jr., Vincent, Damon, Shawn and Curtis; two sisters, Patsy and Gwendolyn, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Home Going service is scheduled Saturday, May 6, 2017, 10:00 a.m., Evening Light Church of God, 1515 E. First Street, Okmulgee, OK; with Elder Robert Warren, eulogizing.  Interment will follow in Hawkins Cemetery, Hoffman, OK.
