Howard Eugene Etheridge was born August 9, 1956 in Eufaula, OK.

Howard attended and graduated from Eufaula Public Schools. After graduating high school he later attended Clarendon College, Clarendon, TX.

Howard worked as a postal carrier for McAlester, OK; and the surrounding areas.  He was very sports oriented. He loved to watch various sports on television. Besides the love of sports, Howard loved his family.

Howard met the love of his life, Valarie and they had a daughter. They named her Marshae.

He went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 1, 2017.

Preceding him in death are his father and mother-in-law, Minnie Moses and sister-in-law, Lynda BringingGood Thomas.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 19 years, Valarie, his daughter, Marshae Etheridge, both of the home, mother, Maud Etheridge, Eufaula, OK; two brothers, Elliott (LaTreva) Etheridge, Muskogee, OK; and Bernard (Jodi) Dixon, Eufaula, OK; step-daughter, Amber (Derek) Simpson, Okmulgee, OK; 3 children, Nyah, Nahdia, & Nariah, all of Okmulgee, OK; his sister-in-laws, Mary BringingGood, OKC, OK; Allison BringingGood, McAlester, OK; Lydia Hutchings, McAlester, OK; Emily Werk, Montana, and brother, Robert Green, Krebs, OK; along with a host of other family members and friends.

A Home Going Service is scheduled for Saturday,  April 8th 2017, 2.00 pm, Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, 244 Harrison Ave., Eufaula OK; with Rev. Dwight Porter, eulogizing.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Eufaula, OK.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
