Idella Mae Anderson was born August 18, 1938 to Annie Mae Anderson and Thomas Barnett. Idella attended Morning Star Elementary, Wheatley Elementary and Wheatley High School.

Idella was raised by her grandmother and grandfather, J.G. & Mary Griffin. Later in life she moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

There she met and married Mr. Lane. She remained in Sapupla until her health forced her to give up her residence and move in to Rebold Nursing Home in Okmulgee, OK. Idella remained in Rebold Manor for her final 23 years of life. "God is truly good." What a wonderful, loving family she became a part of there!! Idella enjoyed life and she truly loved her Rebold family.

In her journey through life she always knew God was with her and she never had to walk alone. God knew when she was getting tired and at God's command she left this earthly home and went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2016 at 4:48 p.m. surrounded by family and friends.

Idella was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mae Anderson, her father, Thomas Barnett, her grandmother, Mary Griffin, her grandfather, J.G. Griffin and her husband, Mr. Lane.

She leaves to cherish her memories one brother, Willmer (Naomi) Barnett, Okmulgee, OK; one sister, Arletter Barnett, one sister-in-law, Wanda Barnett, maternal first cousins, Espinetta (Valentine) Dorsey, Decatur, GA; Nannye (Charles) Talton, Okmulgee, OK; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

A Service of Memory is scheduled, Friday, February 19, 2016, 1:00 p.m., Precious Memories Chapel-Okmulgee.

Visitation, Thursday, 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 P.M.

The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home.
