James H. Orman Sr. of Muskogee, passed away June 28 ^th , 2022 at his home. James was born to Hilton Adam Orman and Hazel (Hutchens) Orman on December 23 ^rd , 1944.

James was a truck driver, getting his first driving job at 16 years of age. If you mentioned any city or town, he could tell you the highway it was on.

In his younger years he was an avid coon hunter and always owned mules.

He was a 32 ^nd Degree Mason and member of the drum corp. He married Eva Pickard Orman on June 15 ^th , 1979.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, son James Orman Jr., brother Lonnie Orman, brother-in-law David Ritchey, nephew Brock Orman, brother-in-law Harold Pickard Jr., and nephew Quince Walker.

James is survived by wife Eva, daughters Jacqueline Bufore and Teri Fletcher, brother Johnny Orman and wife Charlotte Orman, sister Hilda Ritchy, sister-in-law Melba Orman. 5 grandchildren Joseph Rivers, Emma Bufore, Connor Bufore, April Carter, Kristopher Carter and son-in-laws Brian Bufore and Tharon Rivers. As well as many nieces and nephews that loved him and will miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held at New Life Assembly of God, 200 North Lee Street, Fort Gibson, OK 74434 on Wednesday, July 6 ^th , 2022 at 2pm. No graveside service to follow. His nephew, Lonnie Orman Jr., will lead the memorial services.
