Joan Williams was born July 9, 1940 to John Henry Williams and Annie (Russ) Carter in Woodsville, MS.

Joan was spiritual and received Christ at an early age. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, traveling, attending festivals and concerts, and Sunday dining.

Joan went home to be with the Lord, March 10, 2024

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Williams and Annie (Russ) Carter, and her daughter, Rachel Williams.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Carl Williams; grandchildren, Desarae, Stephen, and Joshua; sister, Bertha Williams; brother, Tony Carter, along with a host of family and friends.

A Home Going Celebration is scheduled Saturday, March 16, 2024, 11:00 a.m. House of Winn Funeral Home & Cremations, "Precious Memories Chapel" 2200 Military Blvd., Muskogee, OK; with Bishop Harold Jones delivering the eulogy. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
