Obituary

Joe Roosevelt Wallace was born September 15, 1940 in Okmulgee Oklahoma and attended high school. He left school early to pursue his career in the Navy that he loved and later retired from as Navy vet. He traveled and ventured to different places when he decided to call Amarillo home.  There he was employed with SPS electrical company and Pantex  for many year and everyone affectionately knew him as Sunny. He was a strong man, a loving man and a caring man.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents Melvin and Winnie Wallace, His siblings brother Melvin Wallace Jr., sister Naomi Powell and brother Jaime Wallace.

Joe (Sunny) leaves behind a son Joe Wallace, Jr., California, Daughters Nikki Wallace, Texas, Sheneka Wallace, Texas. Siblings Charles Wallace Weleetka, OK, Carol Lewis, Arlington TX. Grandchildren: Cheyanne Wallace, Joseph Wallace, Marina Haba, Jalen  Wallace, Knaija Taylor, Kalen Taylor, Tenecia Collins, Tyasia Collins, Tamiya Collins and Marquise Collins, Khalauni Wallace, and Great grandchild Ariya Taylor. He will also leave a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends. All of which loved and cherished his memory.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, December 12 th at 11:00 a.m. in the Precious Memories Chapel of House of Winn Funeral Home-Okmulgee, with Rev. Leroy Crawford Eulogizing. The family chose cremation for Joe R. Wallace Sr.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL SEVICES
