John Alden Fisher was born the 22nd of March, 1972 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Ruby Fisher and Alden Crisp.  He was educated through the Okmulgee Public School system where he graduated in 1990.

John worked as a custodian at Okmulgee High School but started his employment at the age of 16 at Warehouse Market where he worked for 20 plus years and that's where everyone got to know and love him.

John would greet everyone with a big smile.  He had a kind heart and would go out of his way to help anyone in need and never asked for anything in return.  He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his little nieces and nephews whom he adored.

John was called home on the 5th of February, 2017.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

John is survived by three sisters, Lynette Cherry, Oklahoma City, OK; Terrie Fisher, Okmulgee, OK; and Betty Fisher, El Paso, TX; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  John will truly be missed.

A Home Going Service is scheduled Saturday, February 11, 2017, 11:00 a.m., St. Matthew Baptist Church, 1001 E. Chicago Street, Okmulgee, OK; with Rev. Terrance  Reed, eulogizing.  Interment will follow in Okmulgee Cemetery, Okmulgee, OK.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
