"This Is My Story"

On November 18, 1983 at the Okmulgee General Hospital, Linda Campbell and Larry Bird became proud parents of twins, me and my sister, Wee-Wee. I was raised in Boynton and spent my childhood with everyone-simply doing country things, like helping my Grandma with chores to riding horses. My childhood was great.

I attended school in the Boynton-Moton School Systems all the way through high school. One of the biggest transitions for me was moving from the elementary building to the 7th grade building. My 8th Grade Graduation, was a proud moment--I was dressed to IMPRESS with a tuxedo and tails! I knew I was IT.  Four years later, I proudly obtain my high school diploma from Boynton-Moton High School.

After graduation, I attended OSU Technology School majoring in drafting. I then attended Muskogee VOTECH for their nursing program. Ultimately, I graduated with honors from the College of the Muscogee Nation with a degree in Gaming. This degree was very special to me and my hard work was recognized.

During my life, I worked various jobs. I started as a brick laborer at the age of 8- working weekends and summers. By the age of 17, I was a Master Brick Mason. I worked in retail, managed convenience stores until I became a Call Center Representative for T-Mobile. I excelled in customer service, efficiency and often had the highest ranking in the U.S. at the T-Mobile Call Centers for quality of service. I received several promotions at T-Mobile and I enjoyed my co-workers.

Now my life was not all work and no play. I had many hobbies and interests like fishing, hunting, spending time with any of my children, kicking it with my cousin and friends, spending time with my Mom and siblings. I loved to tell stories, cracking a good joke and laughter always healed my soul! If you knew me, then you know I was not going to leave you without a good laugh or memory.

While I was adulting, I met Nicole Nichols and together we had two children; although our relationship didn't last, we remained friends. Several years later, I met Jennifer Hicks. Together we had two beautiful daughters. During both relationships, I loved all of my children and gained several bonus children. Whom I love and was blessed to be in their lives until God called me home.

I was preceded in death by my one and only granddaughter, Wrenly Lean (Alize) in March 2023.

I leave to cherish my life, my memory and my legacy, my parents, Linda Campbell (Grayson, OK) and Larry Bird (Okmulgee, OK); my children, Deven Bird and Alize Bird (both of Noble, OK), Devonte Hicks (U.S. Army), Aryiah Bird and Amyah Bird (both of Tulsa, OK); Bonus children, Harley Henry, Neveah (Nichol) Catchchochee and Frederick (Kristy); bonus grandchildren, Jamilah; my significant other, Kristy Ford (of the home); siblings Anthony Bird of OKC, OK; Monica Bird of Wichita, KS, Merdise Parker (TY) of Kansas City, KS; My brother Bradford Campbell (Grayson, OK) and lastly, my twin sister and best friend, Danielle Bird (Gina) of Tulsa, OK; five nephews, Tayron (Wichita, KS) Anthony (OKC, OK), Brad (Coweta, OK), Christian (Tulsa, OK) and Ryan (Kansas City, KS); one great nephew and a bonus nephew, Vincent Hill (OKC, OK). I have so many friends, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other people that I know I left behind. I hope you remember all those funny moments and good times – I will be in your heart forever! Don't tell me goodbye---See you later!!!
