"Laura “Lodi” Michelle Coleman, 73, of Park Hill, OK, passed away surrounded by family on June 6, 2026, at Northeastern Health in Tahlequah, OK.

Born on April 24th in Alameda, CA to Leland Higgins and Jacqueline Kunzie, Laura grew up in Imperial Beach and graduated from Mar Vista High School. She went on to be a highly adored mother, housewife, and caregiver for family members. 

Laura was known for entertaining friends and family. Her warm personality, friendly nature and love for all people made it easy for anyone to have a conversation and spend time with her. She was also known by family as “Elly May” because she loved animals and always surrounded herself with them.

Laura is survived by her spouse David Coleman; children Brook and Michael; grandchildren Taylore, Arlo, Weston, Aubri, Brendan, Michael-Steven, and Coyle; and sister Jamie.

The Coleman family has chosen Cremation as the final disposition.
