LaVander Leon Hammon, Jr. was born August 16, 1990 in Okmulgee, OK; he was the fourth child born to LaVander Hammon and Michelle McCargo.

"TJ" as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, loved cars, computers and any electronics he could get his hands on. As a child TJ, loved to play football and take his toys apart just to put them back together again. TJ had a talent for fixing electronics. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music, eating snacks, chocolate and giving his loved one his own opinionated advice. He was young in the flesh but a spiritually seasoned and wise soul.
As time passed, TJ had his mind set on being an entrepreneur. He was a well-rounded individual who strived and worked to anything he put his mind to. He was a hard worker and very independent. In his childhood until he became an adult he was passionate about helping people in any way he could. This prompted TJ to establish his own business, "Cargo Roadside."
Preceding TJ in death are his paternal great grandmother, Ollie Wishous Hammon, maternal grandmother, Shirley McCargo, paternal grandmother, Carolyn Hammon-Davis, aunts, LaTonna McCargo, LaDonna McCargo and Betty Littlejohn.
