Obituary

What a joyous night it was on July 20, 1986, at 10:02 p.m., when a handsome baby boy was born to Michael and Vickie Ragsdale in Muskogee, OK. They named him LeGayer Jerome Ragsdale, who later gained the name "Geezy".

At around 6 years old he joined the Knights Pythagoras under the late Howard Ward III and the late Delbert Jackson Sr. LeGayer also attended Muskogee High School Class of 2004. He made friends wherever he went with his charming smile and meek attitude.

He loved playing Paul Young football, making music and following his father's footsteps having a interest in cars.

He accepted Christ at an early age being baptized in Oklahoma City, OK.

Later LeGayer worked as a laborer and had worked in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Grand Prairie, TX, and was currently employed in Fort Worth, TX.

LeGayer was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Washington Ragsdale Jr. and Dorothy (Johnson) Ragsdale. Maternal grandparents Clyde Brown Sr. and Helen (Shine) Brown, his son JaCion Logan-Ragsdale, Paternal aunt Aundrea Ragsdale, Maternal aunt Charlene Gilyard, Uncles Herbert L. Burnett, Gerald W. Gaston, and Clyde Brown Jr., Cousins Herbert "TJ" Hill IV, and Stacey Brown.

His memories live on with his parents Michael Ragsdale and Vickie "Brown" Ragsdale, sister Stephanie Ragsdale, nieces AmBrynae and Kenadi Ragsdale, great nephew Maison Ragsdale. A host of uncles, aunts, special cousins and close friends. God Brother Cory Patt and God Son Noah Patt of Texas.

Revelations 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

A Home Going Service is scheduled Saturday, August 24, 2024, 11:00 a.m., House of Winn Funeral Home, "Precious Memories Chapel" 2200 Military Blvd., Muskogee, OK; with Pastor David Ragsdale Jr., delivering the eulogy.

Visitation will be Friday, August 23, 2024, 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Cremation to follow.
