Lennore Wilkins Zachary's Obituary
Lennore Wilkins Zachary a beautiful rare little maiden made her entrance into the world July 28, 1967 in Memphis TN; to Vanella and Truman Wilkins.
Lennore was a phenomenal woman with a kind spirit and a loving, comforting, warm heart. At an early age, Lennore accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She had a special presence that stood out in any room full of people. Lennore was exceptional and she succeeded at all she put her mind to. The intelligence she possessed never went unnoticed and was prevalent through her speech. Lennore earned her first bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and continued on to earn a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma as well as a Master's in Mass Media Communication from Lindenwood University.
She also served in the United States Army where she met her husband of 23 years, Keith Zachary.
On December 26, 2015 Lennore went home to be with the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her biological father.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Keith Zachary, of the home, O'Fallon, MO; two daughters; Jennifer L. Wilkins, Tulsa, OK; Alexandria Zachary, Hazelwood, MO; her mother, Vanella Taylor, Muskogee, OK; three brothers and one sister: Kurtis T. Wilkins, Tulsa, OK, Plez L. Taylor Jr. (Christine) Muskogee, OK, Esther R. Taylor, Tulsa, OK; and Timothy S. Taylor, Muskogee, OK; five uncles and three maternal aunts, John Harpe, Louisville, KY; Mac McCool, Portland, OR; James Current, Muskogee, OK; Donnie Current, Muskogee, OK; and Ronnie Current, Muskogee, OK; Betty Thomas, Memphis, TN; Debbie Knowles, Memphis, TN; Patricia Pollard, Tulsa, OK; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special cousin, Terry Yarbrough, Birmingham, AL;, and friends that will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Lennore's home going will be held, Thursday, December 31st, 11:00 a.m. in Timothy Baptist Church, 5530 W. Okmulgee St., Muskogee, OK with Rev. Johnny Harper, eulogizing.
Interment will follow in Booker T. Washington Cemetery.
There will be no public visitation.
The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home & Cremations.
