On July 24, 1934, a second baby girl was born to Bertha Lane and Howard Ausby, in Morris, OK.

She was baptized at an early age at New Zion Baptist, Church Morris, OK. Leona Attended Halley Elementary School and Grayson High School. She had a son at an early age, then started working. Later, She moved to Tulsa, OK; and joined Progressive Baptist Church, where she was a very active member.

Years later she met and married, Nelson Holmes of Tulsa, OK. While united as a couple she became active with American Legion. After the passing of her husband, Leona attended Draughon Business College. She graduated with a Nursing Assistant Certificate. Soon, she began working at St. Johns Hospital, Tulsa, OK; and Girling Home Care. Leona later retired knowing she had fulfilled her dreams. After retirement she moved Okmulgee, OK; to be closer to family. She joined Northwest Chapel Baptist Church, where she continued her Christian stewardship under the leadership of Pastor Leroy Crawford, Jr. That didn't stop Leona from becoming a member of the Red Hat Club! Later she would introduce the church to her famous Lemon cake.
Leona enjoyed garage sale shopping, working puzzles, and watching Wheel of Fortune.

On Saturday, November 5, 2016, she received her white robe and went home to Glory.

Mrs. Leona Mae Osbie-Holmes was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Mr. S.L. Reagor, husband, Nelson Holmes and sister, Erma Geer.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her dear loving son, Billy Ray (Brinder) Reagor, six grandchildren, Billy G. Reagor, Tulsa, OK; Michael J. Brown, Oklahoma City, OK; Roshawn M. Cottrell, Tulsa, OK; Regina L. Reagor, Oklahoma City, OK; LaSondra D. Reagor, Tulsa, OK; Crystal Jones (Jimmy) Smith, 14 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Pearl (Levell) Younger, San Leandro, CA; Louise (Paul) Downing, Glenpool, OK; four brothers, Sidney (Shirley) Reagor, Tulsa, OK; David (Gina) Reagor, Okmulgee, OK; James (Sheena) Reagor, Tulsa, OK; and John (Shirley) Reagor, Sr. Ardmore, OK; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her.

A Home Going Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, November 12, 2016, 2:00 p.m., Northwest Chapel Baptist Church,10455 Smith Road, Okmulgee, OK; with Rev. Leroy Crawford Jr., eulogizing. Interment will follow in Reagor Cemetery, Morris, OK.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home-Okmulgee.
