Leroy Griffith was born February 15, 1957 in Okmulgee, OK; to Oscar Griffith and Juanita Williams.

Leroy attended and graduated from Okmulgee Public Schools.  He went to and graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelors degree.

He professed his love for Christ at an early age.  Later, he was ordained as a minister.

Leroy went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory, his children, Ray (Tanisha) Guidry, Jason Griffith, Ulyesia Griffith and Abraham Griffith, his brother, Floyd "Groovy" Griffith, a special uncle, Claude (Margaret) Williams Sr., his grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him.

A Memorial Service is scheduled Thursday, March 22, 2018, 11:00 a.m., Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1500 N. Miami Street, Okmulgee, OK

Mr. Griffith will be cremated.

Inurnment will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., Beggs Cemetery, Beggs, OK

The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Homes.
